Thanks for that. Only reason I ask is in the coming years I plan to have the engine pulled apart and rebuilt. Not necessarily for power. But I want to replace whatever that'si in there that @ the time will be over 30 years old. Gaskets, harness' etc... I just want to prevent instead of repair. I want this thing to run many years with as few problems I can prevent the better. With the engine disassembled to me it only make sense to replace some of the components that can benefit me power wise. By replacing with better aftermarket parts instead of the 30+ year old OEM parts. Bot sure if that makes sense? I'm still learning about the engine and parts. I am getting tired of searches because: Guy A says this Guy B says that and Guy C says they are both wrong and then Guy D who says Guy A is right but guy B makes a good point. lol I was just looking @ Z1 and SZ engines page @ engine parts. I'm guessing I wold probally start with rods and pistons. I saw they had cams so I figured since the cams wil be out would it be worth it to replace with better ones. I could go on and on.
